PROJECT SUMMARY
BART - Hayward Maintenance Complex
Studio 151 was contracted to provide engineering and construction management systems on the Bart-Hayward Maintenance Complex. With a large fleet of BART Vehicles, locations used to store and maintain them needed an expansion to keep up with demand. The Hayward Maintenance Complex (HMC) is a vehicle maintenance and storage facility located on the A-Line. The HMC Project is a major program to expand and renovate the HMC storage tracks and maintenance facilities in order to maintain, accept, store, and test new vehicles and provide increased flexibility for operations and maintenance. Including the installation and testing of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. SCADA combines hardware and software used for industrial automation so that it may be supervised and controlled locally and remotely.
